Reminders
Here are few
reminders you should probably take note of when drinking
green tea.
-
Do not drink
green tea when it is boiling hot or after it has
turned cold. The ideal temperature is 56 to 62 degree
Celsius. Teas that are left too long after brewing
may lose their nutrients and antioxidant
nature.
-
Avoid drinking
overly concentrated green tea. Usually, 1 cup should
use 2 or 3 grams of tea-leaves or 1 tea bag. More
concentrated means there are more caffeine, and it
may cause sleeping problems or upset the
stomach.
-
Do not drink
green tea with any medications because it can disrupt
the effect of medications.
-
Do not over
drink green tea. Recommended intake is 3 to 4 cups a
day. Excess consumption may cause caffeine-related
problems.
-
Lastly, you
should consult with your doctor if you have any
doubts or worries.
